Average food. Loved their ambiance and service though. The parotta's were so dry and hard. All the dishes lacked taste and flavour for my liking. Tried their Chicken pakodas, kothu parotta, nool parotta, kalakki, Chicken chettinaadu and evrything we tried was average. The filter coffee was good though. I wouldn't recommend.
Pondy Parottas has lasted for many years now and for good reasons. They have so many parotta options that it's confusing what to order. Overall, service is good. We had a polite host, Debashish who helped us in picking dishes. We enjoyed Chicken Pakoda, Parotta with Mutton Curry and Kerala Parotta with Veg Salna. The price is reasonable too, overall good pick for casual dining. I would highly recommend.
Visited for dinner and ordered Ambur biryani and chicken tawa rice. Both were awesome and very flavourful. Most recommended for good food. The service is not great as the restaurant is understaffed given the crowd.
Very authentic KOTHU parottas, very Tamil but they also have Chinese on the menu and people who serve are Hindi lol well diversity for you

I ordered parottas, chicken curry, and kothu parotta. -->The kothu parotta was satisfying in taste, though a little on the expensive side. As for the parottas and chicken curry, they were just okay for me - the curry had a watery texture and the parottas weren't as soft as I expected. Being from Madurai, where you get some of the best parottas in Tamil Nadu, my expectations were higher. -->Overall, it's a decent place with good service, but I feel there's room for improvement in the taste and texture of the regular parottas and curries.
