Indian Tiffin Room (ITR)

One of the best things about this place is the parking -- there's plenty of space, with room for about 6-7 cars and good space for bikes too. However the approach road to this place was not very great The restaurant is quite spacious inside. They have two sections -- a standing area with high tables and a premium dining area if you prefer sitting down. It looks like they serve breakfast as well as a wide variety of lunch and dinner options. I visited around 8 AM and had a onion dosa with coffee. The dosa was tasty -- a nice, typical South Indian style (though a bit different from what you'd find in Bengaluru's Bhavan or Taza Kitchen). They serve it with three chutneys -- I really liked the peanut chutney and the slightly sweet ginger chutney. The sambar tasted fresh and flavorful, with good vegetables inside. The kitchen looked clean and well-maintained, and I noticed all the staff wearing head caps, which was good to see. Also, they were playing some soft devotional music in the morning -- a really nice touch that added to the calm vibe. Overall, a pleasant breakfast experience. Would definitely recommend trying it out if you're nearby!

A great place to enjoy South Indian food. While the menu is on the pricier side, you can still get a cup of tea for just 20, which is a pretty good deal. I ordered the idli, and it was delicious -- especially the sambar. The staff is very attentive and customer-friendly, always ready to serve with a smile and offer assistance when needed.

ITR Tiffins has established a high standard for quality food, offering a rich ambiance and good food quality, although prices are slightly steep for tiffins and coffee. The keema dosa, chicken dosa, and poori chicken were flavorful, but the idly was somewhat sticky. The sambar and chutneys were commendable, and the vada was crunchy. The plain dosa tasted good, but the coffee and tea seemed overpriced. The location is a bit off the main road, but parking is sufficient. The head chef ensured the food quality and noted areas for improvement. A notable aspect is their use of refined oil for preparations. To maintain their competitive edge, they should focus on hygiene and pricing, as other good options are available on the same road at affordable prices.

Today we have visited ITR , faced worst experience with both the service and quality of food. Each food item cost more, with no sitting arrangement. Sitting arrangement provided only in Premium dining with over prices. Quality of the food also worst. Powdered badam milk serving for 120rs, over expensive. Staff is also too rude while giving response.

Had visited the place after hearing reviews of the healthy idli option . GHEE KARAM KUDUMU one piece was quite heavy and we felt full eating that. The other dishes we ordered was pessarutu / ghee karam idli / dosa all the dishes were good and was made with a lot of ghee .. 3 types of chutney served was descent . Sambhar was average though . .. when we went at around 1 pm it was quite empty but later on it was quite full . The place looks new . But the approach road is quite shabby and u wonder where u r reaching . Madhuri the lady who was attending us was veery efficient and helped us understand the menu . Service was great.
