One of the very good Benne dosas place. We tried breakfast here by chance but I must say that it was a pleasant surprise. We ordered kara and a both of which were excellent. We also ordered filter coffee, which was fine and really over expensive. The ambience is very average. It's a kind of street place, but the Dosa category makes it worth the visit.
Had breakfast at Rk Davanagere Benne Dosa Shop near Sri Aurobindo Colony, Miyapur, and it was an absolute delight! I'm a big fan of their Benne Masala Dosa - rich in flavor, made on traditional wood fire, topped with their special butter, and served with coconut, tomato, and peanut chutneys. The dosa is crisp yet melts in the mouth - truly addictive! What makes it even better is that it's economical without compromising taste. Apart from dosa, they also serve Ghee Idli, Puri, Vada, Chow Chow bath, Uggani, Mirchi Bhajji, Punugulu and more - all fresh and flavorful. If you love Benne Dosa, this place is a must-visit hidden gem in Miyapur!
Visited this place multiple times and overall, the taste of the food was good, and the service was also commendable. One of the highlights is the affordability - the cost is very reasonable and not overly expensive. However, the major drawback is the lack of punctuality. They often fail to adhere to their stated timings, they don't follow their own timings to open the restaurant and it's frustrating to experience delays every single time. Hopefully, they can work on improving their time management.
Place is small. All it matters is quality of food and taste, perfect place for BF and quick bite
I have taken parcel today i.e on 27th sep, after reaching home, opened the. Items and started having. I noticed the chutney quality is worst and they have added yesterday's leftover chutney for take aways. This was observed twice and I called on the number given here but as usual no response. And they have given Rasam in breakfast
