The taste of idly, wada and chutney is very good. Despite heavy crowd the service is fast. But it is not worth to travel from more than 5kms or more just for this tiffin, if you been to that place or locality you can try. No parking space available we need to parkour vehicles just beside the road.

Review on Lingaiah Tiffins, Near Mallepally By K. Srinivasa Reddy I have been visiting Lingaiah Tiffins, near Mallepally, since 2020, and it has truly become one of my all-time favourite places for authentic South Indian breakfast. This tiffin centre is a landmark in itself -- a reputed establishment that has been serving delicious food for over 60 years, maintaining its traditional taste and simplicity through generations. Whenever I visit, I usually enjoy idly, vada, and their famous tea. The idly here is exceptionally soft, fluffy, and served fresh every time, while the vada is crisp on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. But what truly elevates the meal is their signature peanut chutney -- my personal favourite. The flavour is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, with a homely aroma that makes every bite delightful. I often take this Lingaiah chutney home, but somehow, the taste at the tiffin centre itself feels more magical -- perhaps it's the freshness and warmth that makes it so special. The quality of food is consistently excellent, and the hygiene is well maintained despite the rush of daily customers. The staff are humble, polite, and quick in service, reflecting the old Hyderabad hospitality that is rare to find today. The prices are very reasonable, making it a favourite not just for regular customers but also for food lovers across the city. The location near Maredpally is easily accessible, and though it's a simple setup, the charm lies in its authenticity and the unforgettable taste of their idly and chutney. Even when I go to Nampally, I make it a point to eat Lingaiah Idly -- the taste gives a sense of satisfaction that truly touches the soul. In short, Lingaiah Tiffins is not just a place to eat -- it's an emotion for all who love traditional, tasty, and wholesome South Indian breakfast. A true culinary gem of Hyderabad that continues to win hearts, one idly at a time.

Lingaiah Tiffin Centre is a very popular and crowded spot, especially during breakfast hours. Please note, there are no dedicated parking facilities, so you'll have to park your vehicle at your own risk on the roadside. That said, it's a decent and humble place to enjoy a good South Indian breakfast. What truly stands out here is their chutney - incredibly flavorful and freshly prepared. The idlis are super soft, and when dipped in the chutney, the combination becomes absolutely irresistible. It's simple, authentic, and comforting. A must-try breakfast spot if you're around the Old City!

Review: Lingayya Tiffins - Social Media Hype Doesn't Match Reality (3/5) After seeing Ligayya Tiffins all over social media, I decided to give it a try, hoping for an exceptional South Indian breakfast experience. Unfortunately, while it's not a bad place, it doesn't live up to the hype. The biggest letdown was the value for money. Paying 35 for just two pieces of idly or vada feels steep, especially considering the portion sizes. The taste is decent--nothing extraordinary, but definitely better than many other local tiffin centers. The chutney was flavorful, and the food was served hot, which is always a plus. However, for the price point, I expected something more filling or at least unique in flavor. The ambiance _ never mind the service is quick, which is great if you're in a rush. But if you're going there expecting a standout experience just because of its viral fame, you'll likely leave underwhelmed. It's a classic example of how online popularity can sometimes set expectations too high. In comparison to other local joints, Lingayya Tiffins is slightly better in terms of taste and cleanliness. But if you're looking for real value or something that leaves a lasting impression, this may not be it. Overall, it's a decent place to grab a quick bite if you're nearby, but it's not worth traveling out of your way--or paying premium prices--just because it's trending online.

The idly and chutney were absolutely delicious, served hot and fresh. The vada was perfectly crisp and full of flavor -- definitely worth the hype! It's a great place to enjoy authentic tiffins. The place can get a bit crowded on weekends, but it's worth the wait. They serve tiffins till 2 PM every day, which is really convenient. Overall, a must-visit spot for anyone who loves idly and vadas.
