Varalakshmi tiffins

Known for their ghee Karam dosa. Ordered ghee masala dosa, paneer dosa and ghee karam idli. Masala dosa is worth a try. Paneer dosa is worth a skip. Chutneys served with tiffins are good. Very small space to dine in. Better to prefer take away.

Disappointed by the attitude, not just the chutney Visited Varalakshmi Tiffins in Nallagandla expecting a hearty South Indian meal, but left with a bitter taste-not from the food, but the service. When I politely asked for a little extra chutney, I was curtly told, "We can't give more chutney for you"--in a tone that felt downright inhospitable.Moreover food is packed with bare hands with hand stain spots in the food .0 for hygiene. It wasn't about the chutney. It was the dismissive attitude, the lack of basic courtesy, and the feeling that customers are just transactions here. For a place that prides itself on traditional flavors, the warmth and hospitality were sorely missing. If you're looking for a place that values its patrons and understands that service is part of the experience, you might want to look elsewhere.

Situated in basement on the Nallagandala road. They have limited dishes, but variety within the dishes. For example 7-8 kinds of Dosas. Looks like they are clear about what they want to specialise in and do that well - like not offering vadas or sambhar. There is no seating arrangement but 3-4 standing tables in case you like to eat there. I would recommend it for take aways though. Price point is higher than a tiffin center but lower than a regular food joint. Quality is very acceptable for the price.

Out of all the Varalakshmi Tiffins we've tried, this one ranks last when it comes to food quality. Even after giving feedback multiple times, their dosas remain overly oily and the idlis don't match the standard you get at other Varalakshmi outlets.

First time I visited. Very bad experience with the manager. Requested him to pack few tea spoons of potato Masala along with sada Dosa. Adamantly he refused. Repeated Requests also did not oblige. Better kickoff such guys who tarnish organizational image. And it is the first and last visit. If really concerned, kickoff him off. Let me see how you respond?
