The food is good for an authentic Tamil Nadu cuisine from Madurai. We had Chicken Meals and they tasted well, and the quantity was filling. However, the spread was limited during the lunch time and many starters were not available. The ambience could be a bit better for the price being costed, too.
Perhaps I should start with their journey from being rickshaw fast food shop to develop in to a restaurant is a great inspiration. This itself shows the growth and taste obsolutely plays a major role for their success. People who are hardcore non veg should try this shop especially you would like to taste a down south Madurai style food. They have variety of Kari dosais and curries are great too. My favourite was chicken curry dosai
The worst restaurant in vellore. I never saw this kind of restaurant anywhere. I ate two days continuously, day 1 air conditioner was switched off I ate with sweating . Day 2 once i entered the restaurant few people are eating in one table and another one table restaurant owner eating. I am in another table they switched off the air conditioner once the owners finished their lunch. I ate with sweating 2nd day also. I never saw this kind of manner in any restaurant
You can get good food with affordable price... One of the best hotels in vellore I'm editing this review after my recent visit yesterday.... I ordered parotta and chicken koothu parotta and 2 kulmbu kalaki... They are not giving chicken chalna what they usually give... Instead they provided roadside cheap chalana... Also, the quantity of chicken koothu was reduced drastically and they give normal plain kalaki.. Kindly don't waste your time on this restaurant friends... After reaching a good crowd they start their work....
