Alakar Restaurant

Asked for onion dosa and gave plain dosa with some onion pieces. Badly cooked and when told, server didn't listen. Then manager came and said, we'll give you masala dosa for take away, don't worry. When we went to pay, he said since you ate, you give money for all items. Bad hospitality, no service. Not recommended at all. No wonder it is always empty.

I recently had a chance to dine at Alakar, and I wanted to share my thoughts. The ambience is truly good, creating a very pleasant atmosphere for a meal. It's also great to see that they have been awarded by one of the online food delivery platforms as a good restaurant. However, I encountered a few points where I feel there's room for improvement. * The food preparation takes a considerable amount of time, which can be a bit challenging when you're hungry. * While the food itself was enjoyable, we found it to be slightly high priced, especially considering that the quantity was less for the price paid.

A good hotel on the main road, no dedicated parking, the interiors are decent and air-conditioned...we went for lunch and the food tasted good and of food quality, the service was pretty quick...there is also a rest room facility available.. We ordered a kothu parotta and that was not that great...it was like they just mixed parotta with gravy in thawa and served..they should have done it better.

We recently visited this vegetarian restaurant for breakfast and had a generally pleasant experience. The food was delicious, with some dishes standing out more than others. We ordered the ghee roast, podi idli, poori masala, mini sambar idli, and filter coffee. The ghee roast was crispy and flavorful, while the podi idli was soft and well-seasoned. The poori masala was a bit oily, but still enjoyable. The mini sambar idli was a nice surprise - a creative twist on the classic dish. The filter coffee was strong and satisfying, just what we needed to start the day. Overall, I'd give this restaurant 4 stars. While the food was tasty, the service was a bit slow and the ambiance was nothing special. Still, a solid choice for vegetarians looking for a reliable breakfast spot.
