Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B

I had the opportunity of visiting this A2B outlet in vaniyambadi while I was returning from chennai. It was evening 5:30 pm. I ordered poori masala poori and coffee. The poori was served hot along with chutney and potato saagu. Taste was delicious. Coffee was excellent. It is heard that their venpingal is tasty. The restaurant sells fresh sweeets and savouries in packets. Toilet facility is also available, but requires more cleanliness. The compound houses a leather goods , a famous saree shop and few other shops also. On my return journey from Chennai I tasted their plate meals. It was hot and all the items were tasty

While not alarming, it does take away from the otherwise polished image A2B tries to maintain. The restroom nearby is clean and airy, which is a big plus for highway travelers. Seating & Space The outlet is smaller compared to other A2Bs, and most tables are designed for groups of four. If you're traveling with a larger group, you might have to split across tables. The AC seating area is a welcome relief, especially during hot afternoons, but space is limited. Parking & Accessibility Located right off the highway, this A2B is easy to spot and access. There's ample car parking both in front and at the back, making it convenient for families and bikers alike. Verdict A dependable highway stop with tasty food, decent amenities, and quick access. Slight lapses in utensil hygiene and limited seating space are worth noting, but overall, it's a solid choice for travelers.

Best place to take a break from your long drives. Very reasonably priced and very fast service. Tasty food. Good quality and hygienic. Staff is polite and courteous. The snacks are very tasty too. They have lot of parking space and clean restrooms. Some shops for shopping too available

We stopped to have coffee and breakfast. This place is well maintained. Neat and clean. The restrooms are at the rear. Quick service. Ample parking space. We bought some snacks and left.

Travellers going from Chennai to Mumbai- If you are not very hungry and can wait then have your breakfast/lunch in this restaurant. Beautifully placed on the highway with ample parking space. I had plain dosai and it was finger licking good. The dosa was very crispy yet soft and the nariyal chutney was too good to be true(Comparison between like to like). Dosa: 9/10
