Very Disappointing Experience - Not Worth It Visited this restaurant near Arunachaleshwar Temple expecting a decent meal, but it turned out to be a frustrating experience. Although they offered an "unlimited South Indian meal", the service was extremely poor. We had to ask multiple times for even the basic items to be served, and still nothing came. It felt like we were just being ignored. The food was average at best - nothing special or worth the price. On top of that, the place was uncomfortably hot. They had AC, but it was either not working or just for show because it felt like sitting in a furnace. There are plenty of better options around the temple. Would not recommend this place at all. Save your time and money - look elsewhere.

We were truly impressed by the exceptional hospitality extended to us, which was perfectly complemented by the delectable and mouth-watering food served throughout our stay. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. Cashew nut pulao was top notch.

We had been there for dinner, there wasn't much options available in terms of dishes. We had a roti curry, which was ok ok. If you are going by car parking is an issue. Have a look for parking before you go there.

We ordered idli vada and puri masala. Puri masala was good. Idli vada was not so good. Chatni was spoiled. Sambar was good. Service good.

Satvik is a decent mid sized restaurant specializing in south Indian cuisine and also offers chat & north Indian dishes. This is barely at a distance of 100m from one of the key entrances of the Arulmigu Arunachaleswarar Temple. Most of the attendants are women employee's; and their service is quick & courteous. I'd say the quality of the food was good & hygiene; however the taste was just over average (not a wow factor). This restaurant is housed within another hotel (can't recall the name) with boarding facilities. We tried their special south Indian meal which has the standard rice based menu and when you order the special thali they also serve the Podi (gun-powder), ghee & a couple of other accomplishments. Details as follows - Address - No.7, Ammaniamman Gopuram St, Pavazhakundur, Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu 606601. Budget - Appx 300-400 (for 2) Cuisine - South Indian, Chats & North Indian Parking - No (park on the street) Wheelchair friendly - Not really (please call and check) Payment options - Cash & UPI. I hope this review helps. Please visit and don't forget to share your experiences.
