During every visit I go to Annapoorna. Even when I stay at 5* hotels I go there for breakfast and dinner and I'm a fan. But today's experience was really bad. They have extraordinary ambience, people with walkie talkies to make you sit, good food etc. but the core of hospitality - service was pathetic. We ordered simple meals. The guy who brought the meals dropped one Appalam. Never bothered to bring it back. For water, extra sambar, extra poriyal you need to keep searching for people and it takes an eternity to come. They think all we need is extra rice. And nothing else. No one is enquiring people. They just don't bother. Sad to see Annapoorna has become another robotic assembly line with no heart.
