They won't give chatni if you buy one vada. Very adamant in talking as well those who buy one vada only. Better to go nearby Sudarson tea shop or Sri Bhavans where they give chatni with smile for one vada also. Many tea shops nearby and let them change their attitude first

Venkateswara snacks have more than 3 branches in Tuticorin. All are serving tiffin, variety rice . All the time there will be rush for coffee, Tea and ofcourse bajji and Vada. Only self service only. They serve food very fast. Reasonably priced.
The ginger tea and samosa tasted good, but lack of shaded area and seating space needs to be addressed
If you're visiting Thoothukudi, try to visit a juice shop and have a "Pala-rasam" It's basically a mixed fruit juice and you should get it in most fruit and juice stores. The one at Venkateshwara was a great pitstop and they had a really refreshing cold juice on a hot day!
