On our way to Thoothukudi railway station we thought of stopping here for dinner. We went there by 7:30 and was given seats immediately. We ordered Idlies, Karupatti Appam, Adai Aviyal, Koththu Idiyappam and Parotta and some dosas. They all tasted good. Kara paniyaram seems to be prepared early as evening snacks and it was hard. Idlies too was prepared earlier and it seems reheated. Chutneys and podi tasted good. Karuppatti Appam was nice. Overall its a decent veg friendly restaurant near Thoothukudi railway station. Price is also nominal.

Had full unlimited meals in this restaurant. Cost Rs 130 per head for lunch. Good part is that they served meals at 3PM. This is part of Authoor Mani Hotel. Standard full meals menu like potato kootu, tomato thokku, Paruppu keerai, sambar, Kara kozhumbu, rasam, buttermilk, Big Appalam, payasam with accompaniments like moru milagai, lemon pickle, coriander chutney. Food taste good. No car parking though. Walkable distance from Sivan Kovil.
