Worst service. Waited for 15 mins. Nobody came to take order. Went and personally informed the supervisor. Again no response. After 10 mins made a complaint in the billing counter. They didn't bother to hear what we said. After a big struggle of 30 mins we got the order. Akshayam special Soup had floating yellow oil. Chola poori and masala didn't have salt. Sambar had only dhal, no flavours. Nobody had idea of what ice creams were available. If you can't have man power to take orders in peak hours, restrict your tablets and online orders. Pathetic experience. Only a female waiter in the entire restaurant took proper orders. Everyone else had no clue of what was happening in the restaurant.

This is a review for their restaurant in the ground floor.
The staff are super attentive and helpful. They have some parking space as well, for restaurant visitors.
The food was great on all the 3 occasions that we tried.
Their washrooms and the hand wash area requires serious attention as it is dirty and also stinks, most of the times.
Overall, this restaurant has a great potential to become the best in Thanjavur, provided they fix their plumbing stuffs in the hand wash area.

We visited Thanjavur big temple and after for food we decided to have a lunch at shree akshayam which is located on medical college road.We ordered 4 meals,1 curd rice and 1 coffee.The meals were good which is 170 rs and curd rice taste should improve.The coffee was 40rs which has high decoction it was not good.The ambience was very good and service was little lazy it should be proper.Shop has variety of snacks and sweets.
