One of the oldest hotels in Salem with the best South Indian menu. Tried pretty much everything from the menu, fast moving and quick service.. Quality & taste of the food reduced little when compared to earlier days, still it stands on the list. The ambience is nostalgic and makes you feel the vibe that you are indeed at an old place. Parking is not available near by so you'll have to park a little further away and walk.
Shri Krishna is a legendary South Indian restaurant in Salem, serving authentic flavors for over three to four decades. Known for its idli, dosa, sambar vada, Onion utthapam,parotta, masala dosa, mushroom dosa, podi dosa, and chapati, it also offers rumali roti, pachadi, and a variety of rice dishes. The place has a traditional charm, making it a must-visit for lovers of classic South Indian food. It's open morning and evening but closed on Wednesdays, so plan accordingly. Sundays are extremely crowded, with at least a 30-minute wait, but the food is worth it!
Vada, Sambar vada , Sambhar, Chutney everything is sooo good. I went in morning 7 AM, Fresh food. And black coffee is also great great.
Amazing food in this heritage hotel near Salem Town railway station. Tried their idli vadai, Pongal, Poori, coffee. Every item was superb and they still serve the same awesome Sambar. I have been coming here since childhood days from the 90s. Their taste and service is awesome. Place is always crowded. This hotel is closed on Wednesdays.
