Selvi Mess, Salem - My All-Time Favourite in the City! One of my absolute favourite restaurants in Salem -- every time I visit the city, Selvi Mess is a must! I've lost count of how many times I've been here. The mutton quality is top-notch, and all the fish and chicken side dishes are full of authentic flavour and spice. A special mention to Murugan, the server -- his service was excellent and super attentive. The food, consistency, and warmth here make it one of the best traditional non-veg spots in Salem. If you're in Salem and craving real South Indian flavours, Selvi Mess is a must-visit!

Retro themed restaurant. The seating is simple and clean. Each and every dishes were unique. Tasty and delicious. But cost is bit higher. All side dishes cost 300/-. We ordered parota and kothu parota with mutton sukka.. Kothu parota was loaded with chicken. Each parota filled my stomach. Good restaurant.

Located in Salem main area. Old building, not sure whether this is the first shop. Had mutton biryani, Naatu kozhi fry, chicken fried rice, Dragon chicken. All taste were good. Serviceman was also suggested good dishes and good service. Overall good.
