Not recommended. Why? Well, where do I start? Took my wife and mother-in-law to this tiny, dosa-only joint after a friend whispered the magic words: Kajal Agarwal has been here. That sealed the deal :) The place is a blink-and-you-miss-it setup off a busy road. Entered into the hotel and strangely saw 15 wall calendars lined up straight and multiple A4 sheet printouts of 'don't watch cricket here' and 'don't use your phone while eating' types stuck to the walls. Appovey I thought we are into something here. Owner/server is just a ven puluthi. He'll decide what would work best and has a loud voice and rude tone. I retaliated by asking him to converse softly. The other lady in the opposite desk whispered to us - "Are you guys first time here? He's like that only, don't talk to him much". So people are aware of his behaviour and yet come and eat here, that was interesting for me. Anyway, ordered all those variety dosas and surprisingly they were good. Just like their tagline, it's an actual 'veetu samayal'. But this hotel is nothing special if you are from Pollachi and eat home-cooked dosas anyway. To simply put, if you can put up with an angry old man serving you (and schooling you) dosas that tastes almost like your mom's dosa then this place is for you.
