Very good vegetarian restaurant for a pit Stop on the Highway. Ample parking and clean washrooms are available. The service was fast and the food was tasty.

Good food and great ambiance for a perfect family restaurant. Would totally recommend it for everyone to keep this as their go-to travel restaurant.

Royal Udupi Restaurant Review -- Salem-Coimbatore Highway We had breakfast at Royal Udupi Restaurant, located conveniently on the Salem-Coimbatore Highway in Perundurai. Our experience was very pleasant from start to finish. We ordered an extensive South Indian breakfast that included Poori, Masala Dosa (2 plates), Plain Roast Dosa, Idli, Filter Coffee, Tea, Pineapple Juice, Sweet Lime Juice, and Mineral Water. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted very good, with the sambar and chutneys being a standout. The food was served hot and in good portions. A special mention to the staff, who were kind enough to parcel the idlis and dosa my kids couldn't finish, which was really helpful for our onward journey. Such thoughtful service made us feel well taken care of. The restaurant is newly opened, clean, and has a pleasant ambience. There's ample parking space available (see attached photo), making it very convenient for travelers and families. The total bill for our meal came to Rs. 865, which is slightly on the higher side, but considering the quality, service, and comfort, it was worth it. We originally considered dining at A2B opposite this restaurant, but due to the heavy rush there, we tried Royal Udupi instead. It turned out to be a great decision--less crowded, peaceful, and a better overall experience for breakfast on the way to Coimbatore. If you're passing through this stretch and looking for a clean, spacious, and family-friendly vegetarian restaurant, I highly recommend Royal Udupi Restaurant. Excellent food, good service, and easy parking!
