A small shop near madurai temple west tower (Hidden gem). Best place to have breakfast if you are a dosa Lover. Even 1 neyy roast (podi) made my stomach full. And the coffee . coffee was the Best. ask for sakkarai coffee. you won't stop drinking. the place is managed by elders and they are so polite and friendly. the price is average. We spent below 500 for 3 people where we had unlimited sambar and chutni, 4 coffee along with 3 dosa. Visit the place before 10.30 otherwise you won't get everything.

A nice cafe that serves fresh food. They still maintain the traditional flavors . Its been around for close to a century. I highly recommend it if you would like taste the flavors of south india a hundred years before.

Loved the atmosphere here . Located in a type of building which I liked the most. Tried the jeera boli - 'finger lickin Good' is the best caption to describe that. Ordered nei podi dosai, not for formality podi was added like other hotels, filled with ghee and podi. Heart filled breakfast for me. Yeah price is bit costly but price meets the quantity and quality.

Place is over hyped, it is not hygienic. If you happen to sit in a table that has direct view of the kitchen, you will barely be able to eat anything. Kitchen is so dirty. Pongal was cold, they covered it up by pouring hot sambhar over it. Podi Dosai was tasteless. coffee was very good, Carrot halwa was tasty. The atmosphere is terrible. Unless once is near Meenakshi amman temple and West or North gopuram and desperately hungry, this place is a clear avoid.

Good Old restaurant charm, very busy staff, hard to find a table to sit were the first thing to notice here. Was a little hyped up for the visit here but cold pongal, cold vada served at 7 30am was a let down. Tasted good but it would have been much much better if it was hot. Rava dose was good and definitely a must try here.
