Good Experience overall. Waiting time was a bit higher than expected. Onion Kulcha very soft and Tasty. Gravies are also good.The portion sizes are average. Unfortunately due to some renovation work the menu options are limited. Parking Good. Staff are very polite and helpful.
The hotel atmosphere is really great. Also the interior is so beautiful. Both the restaurant and the hotel rooms are attached to same building. When it comes to food the taste is good not the best. Many dishes the taste will be same. Only the name of the dish changes. The taste remains the same. And the menu items are little limited. There are not so many options. During afternoon, for lunch the meals will be offered only in buffet system. Also for this you need to go to 3rd floor. So it has been separated for each kind of food.
Overall a good restaurant in the Kumbakonam area to grab a quick bite. Food and service is above medium. They offer a wide range of South Indian cuisine, with a breakfast buffet available.
Went to Moshika Bhavan to have dinner after hearing a lot of hype abt their tasty food. Comparing to other restaurants in town, it is priced high but not bad food. No value for money, only for some items. Paneer Tikka was good. I ordered a starter Mushroom Pepper dry fry, it was pathetic. After 22 minutes of ordering, they brought something with watery gravy !! I haven't seen such a starter in my life ! Mushroom Dry pepper fry is superb in Balaji Bhavan. Gobi Chettinad was also not that great, just ok. Average per head Rs.300, but not that great. Definitely a good hotel in town. Not that great up to the pricing. Service is not bad. But got delay in many things.
Came to Kumbakonam and decided to had a lunch at Moshika bhavan which is located near to sarangapani temple.We ordered a business thali and paneer fried rice.Both were at average taste.Vegetables were not proper cooked on sambar.The ambience was so good but the service was slow.
