Udupi International Restaurant

I recently visited Udupi International Restaurant, Kumaracoil Junction (K.K. District), and overall it was a delightful experience. The food quality and taste were impressive, especially the chutneys served along with the ghee roast and plain dosa. Both the white and orange chutneys were absolutely delicious, packed with authentic South Indian flavor. The sambar too deserves a special mention -- it was rich, well-balanced, and complemented the dosas perfectly. The restaurant maintains a neat and pleasant atmosphere, making it a good stop for breakfast or a quick meal while traveling through the area. Service was decent and the food was served fresh and hot. However, I did notice that the prices for some items are on the higher side -- 24 for a vadai and 22 for tea seems quite steep compared to other Udupi-style outlets. The Poori set included only two pooris, which was fine taste-wise but could have been a slightly larger portion for the price. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall taste and quality make it worth visiting. If you're in or around Kumaracoil and looking for authentic vegetarian South Indian food, this place is definitely a good choice.

Had good experience overall. Food was tasty and services were fine. Could improve with the cleanliness of utensils and interior. Enough parking at front. Security guy was really helpful Accepts UPI payments. Have toilet facilities too.

Despite its name, Udupi International is not an international-standard restaurant. It's more of an average local eatery offering typical fare. The food is okay - nothing exceptional - and the service is fairly standard. Cleanliness is also just about average, so don't expect a high-class dining experience here. It's a regular spot for a quick meal, but certainly not a place for fine dining or special occasions.

Went here for lunch. The restaurant was filled at first. But it cleared in a while. No one picked up our order for half an hour even after repeated requests..Later whatever we tried to order they say it would take a long while to arrive and blamed the rush. We ordered what they suggested and when our dishes arrived they gave us something else and not what we ordered. They dishes were very normal tasting they didn't justify the price. Parotta was good though. Raita was not given with parota.which is a commonly given in south indian restaurants. After eating when I try to take a tissue paper the person in the counter didn't allow me to take more than one.. Not a good experience at this place.

Hotel is located at nice location on highways road. They have good parking space. Sitting space is also nice there. Price wise the restaurant is also good. We took Udupi meal & parotta curry. Taste was nice. Meal was good must try. But what they are doing is they are giving bill for everything but for cold drinks and Udupi meal that they will give on banana leaf's, they won't add price on the bill. For that's they will write separately on the bill.
