I, with my wife and kid have had food from this cart on more than five occasions spread across two trips to pondy. The food is simple and hygienic. They have the basic South Indian dosa/vadai/idli served with sambar+two types of chutney. The women preparing the food and the men serving are clean and tidy. There is sufficient car parking opportunities in the vicinity (opposite side of the road) which is one of the main reasons I visit this cart. The cart is off the road with space for adults to sit and kids to move around without worrying about traffic. I notice a number of locals buying take away from here. After a light dinner here I head out to the usual Tantos/Hope cafe etc for starters/drinks. Do give it a try. It goes a long way to support the hard working locals who make an effort at earning a living instead of whiling away.
