Aromas of Kodai, located in Kodaikanal city, looked like a promising option for dinner based on its good ratings, but unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The ambiance of the restaurant is decent and it seems like a popular choice, but the quality of food did not meet expectations, especially considering the high pricing. We ordered biriyani and prawns noodles, hoping for flavorful and spicy dishes. However, both items lacked taste and aroma. The biriyani was bland, missing the fragrance and depth of flavor that you would normally expect. The prawns noodles were even more disappointing -- the prawns seemed undercooked, without any proper seasoning, and had a raw texture. Instead of being spicy and delicious, the dish felt poorly prepared. To make matters worse, it caused stomach issues afterwards, which left a very negative impression. Given the price point, we expected much better quality and flavor from this restaurant. While the service and setting may appear fine, the most important aspect -- the food -- simply did not deliver. Overall, Aromas of Kodai was not a pleasant dining experience for us. With tasteless food and questionable preparation, it's hard to recommend despite its strong ratings.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! What truly made it stand out was the exceptional service from the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The team was attentive, courteous, and made sure every detail was taken care of throughout our meal. They provided child-friendly food absolutely free, which was such a thoughtful gesture. We visited next day on the occasion of our daughter's 1st birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special and to our delight, they surprised us with a complimentary brownie with ice cream for our little one's celebration. It truly meant a lot and made the experience even more memorable. A special congratulations to the chef who prepared the brownie with ice cream -- it was absolutely delicious and made the moment even more special. The effort and care put into it were clearly felt and deeply appreciated. Highly recommend this restaurant not only for its delicious food but also for the outstanding service and heartwarming hospitality. A perfect place for families!

Aromas is a complete rip-off. Don't be fooled by the fancy looks of the place - the food is ridiculously overpriced and absolutely tasteless. Imagine paying 110 for a single plain roti! Portions are so small it feels like they are serving samples, not meals. We ended up spending nearly 700 per person and still walked out hungry and cheated. This place is nothing but a tourist trap. Save your money and eat anywhere else in Kodaikanal - you'll get better food, better taste, and actual value for money.

It's a fine dining non vegetarian restaurant in the heart of Kodaikanal. They serve Seeraga Samba Biryani and is okay in taste. Most of the dishes are priced bit high when compared to the quantity delivered. Service is bit slow and ambience is good. Finding parking is very difficult and there's paid parking facility after bus stand nearby. Tried their starters Boneless Chicken Chukka and Dragon Chicken which were good If you want to try non veg in the hills for a peaceful quality experience then this place can be covered.
