Great views from the restaurant. We stayed at the Seashore hotel which houses this restaurant - overlooking the Rock Memorial and also had breakfast buffet included. Food was decent and had a mix of south and north indian food. The room service food comes from this restaurant.
We had a bad experience with the staff at front office reception. Today 20.10.2025 at around 1700hrs, we visited this restaurant with family consists ofv 4 adults and a kid, by an Alto car. Sooner we entered, three of the staff at reception, signalling among themselves with eye language and passed some adverse comments. We objected immediately and they said that, our owner used to come by this car and so we laughed. Then while going out after food at 1900 hrs, I enquired to that person (person in blue shirt) , he said that he is the manager and will take action. This said manager was also one among the three. I expect the owner or the management are genuine and take corrective action, so that the same will not happen with other guest.
The views from the restaurant were awesome specially the sun rise view from the ocean restaurant was spectacular. We enjoyed food which was amazing for our needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend our family and friends when they visit kanyakumari
Except the view nothing is good about this place. Their price is so expensive and the quantity of food is very less. No proper communication from staff, they blame it on management. Food was not even average. We order one piece of Kingfish and what we got was a small portion which will not be enough for a kid and the cost was 450 plus tax. Overhyped placed due to social media. I think these are paid promotions across insta or FB. Not worth really. Please think 3 times before going and blowing up your travel expenses for rusty food.
Had a variety of foods. chicken, seafood biriyani, garlic naan with crab curry. All spot on and very delicious. Worth the money. The view from the dining are is amazing!! Full view of the sea and the valluvar statue. Overall an amazing experience and excellent staff.
