I visited **Hotel Triveni, Kanyakumari** on my first day in the city, hoping for a good vegetarian meal after a long search. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. **Parking issue** - I was asked to park my bike on the roadside, on a very narrow stretch, which looked odd since mine was the only vehicle standing there. **Menu & food** - The dinner menu was very basic with nothing special, though the outlet setup gave the impression of something better. I ordered set parotta, mushroom masala, and coffee. The staff never informed me that the masala quantity was way too much for one person (and it cost 260 just for that). **Billing confusion** - I was given 3 parottas, but the bill was made for only 2, and they didn't charge for the onion sides. Later, the waiter hinted that I should "take care of him" because of this, which felt unprofessional. **Parcel issue** - I requested to pack the leftover gravy, but was told that would be charged extra! I had no choice but to force myself to finish it since the overall bill came to 370 for just one person. **Service** - The waiter kept hovering around, staring while I was eating, and repeatedly asked for a tip, saying he reduced my bill. I ended up giving him 50 extra, so my dinner cost me nearly 400 for average food and poor service. **Other concerns** - No charging points for customers, poor management, and if you go alone, they may swap your seat anytime as if you don't matter. **Overall**: The only reason to visit this place is if you want pure vegetarian food . Apart from that, it's overpriced, average in taste, and the service leaves a lot to be desired. Not worth the money, especially if you're a solo traveler.
