Upashana Hotel enjoys a prime location right in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible for both business and leisure travelers. Its central position allows guests to explore nearby attractions, markets, and transport hubs with convenience. The parking space, however, is quite limited, which might pose a challenge for visitors arriving with their own vehicles, especially during peak hours. On the culinary side, the hotel offers above-average food quality, with a menu that balances taste and variety. While not gourmet, the flavors are satisfying, and the overall dining experience is pleasant. In terms of cost, the hotel stands out for its reasonable pricing, offering good value for money when compared to other establishments in the same area. The management also maintains good hygiene standards, ensuring that rooms and common areas are kept clean and well-maintained. This adds to the comfort and peace of mind of its guests.

During my stay at Sree Sakti Residency in Kancheepuram, I had the chance to dine at Upasana Restaurant, conveniently located on the ground floor of the hotel. Being a pure vegetarian restaurant, it turned out to be a delightful experience, and I must say - it was amazing! We ended up having almost all our meals here, and every dish we tried was consistently delicious. The idlis were soft, fluffy, and paired beautifully with a variety of chutneys and their flavorful sambar. For breakfast, we also enjoyed the Rava Onion Masala Dosa, Ghee Masala Dosa, and crispy Medhu Vadas - all served fresh and hot. For lunch and dinner, we tried dishes like Fried Rice, Paneer Butter Masala, Onion Kulcha, along with refreshing drinks like Lime Soda and Watermelon Juice. Everything was prepared with care, tasted homely yet restaurant-style, and the quality was absolutely on point. Another plus is their timings - the restaurant opens as early as 6:30 AM and serves until 10:30 PM, making it convenient for both early risers and late diners. Overall, Upasana offers a perfect combination of authentic South Indian flavors, North Indian dishes, refreshing beverages, and warm service. Definitely a must-visit if you are in Kancheepuram!

My rating is for the location of the hotel, its like a center place and easily found. The staff are friendly, they serve almost all south indian breakfast. Lunch/dinner donot have rice meals. Idiyappam was good, pongal was tasty. Coffee was also good. Service is fast. More items to be included and it is good if all items on menu are available.

I recently visited Upashana Hotels and liked the food overall - the taste was great and well-prepared. However, the portion sizes felt smaller compared to the prices charged. One major disappointment was that they had run out of most items by 8:30 PM, which was quite inconvenient. Service and ambience was decent.

I have never tasted a worse restaurant in my life. The food is not so tasty but the price and quantity of the food are bad.
