We used to regularly have our lunch here whenever commuting from Chennai to Coimbatore. Food used to be great, high quality with excellent service. But recently the quality has gone down. We had our lunch recently and the rice was not cooked properly. Gravies were all spicy and nothing unique about them. Biriyani was also average. Disappointed with the recent experience. Probably won't be visiting this restaurant anymore.
Visited this hotel on 9.2.2025 with six more friends for lunch. The hotel was practically empty which is unusual for a hotel in that area. Ordered non Vegetarian meals and omelettes. Menu card was not given to us to decide the items. Service was reasonably quick as the hotel was empty. Rice was not cooked properly, which we reported to the staff. One of the curry was too spicey. Omelette was a double one which was not informed to us. After leaving the hotel, one by one we started getting vomiting sensation, stomach pain etc. By evening, almost all of us got symptoms of food poisoning. Two of us started vomiting. I haven't faced food poisoning in my life. Thanks to Karikalan, I experienced it for the first time. Our entire trip became miserable after having lunch. It's better to avoid such hotels.......
Biryani was good. Roti and naan were too good and buttery. Gravies were equally . But in my next visit the quality deteriorates. Their service was an absolute waste of time which is a big need to improve response. They're losing their touch in many items. It was very good in the beginning days and fading nowadays Update: After multiple visits over a 2 year period, they're losing the grip. Everything is bad in my last visit. Better to skip the place.
Highly expensive and a chappathi/porotta costs 50 rupees per piece. It's a normal non AC restaurant with a five star price. They are not even providing Menu. Online menu uploaded in Google map is exactly half price mentioned.
Very very worst foods..it's not worth for their cost..we ordered ghee rice-2 but there's no ghee on rice, full grill chicken-1 they didn't grill it- fried too much in oil it's very hard to eat, butter naan and mushroom gravy and chicken chettinad gravy and blue berry soda... We paid totaly 1700...
