Tried the fried rice at Venus Hotel, Gudalur... and let's just say, even my taste buds filed a missing complaint. If bland had a face, this rice would be it. Fried? More like emotionally boiled with regrets. But wait -- the best part? The chef, who proudly claimed he has 6 years of experience, couldn't handle a basic fried rice and instead argued with me like I offended a family heirloom recipe. Honestly, what's the point of 6 years of "experience" if you can't even saute without sending the flavour on a vacation? If you're on a no-flavour diet, this might just be your new favourite spot.
