Safe and reasonable food in Gudalur town. Friendly staff. Till around 7pm,there is a paid parking facility next to the building. Is a safe bet for travellers passing through the area. Cons- Toilet is outside the hotel.not very well maintained

A good place for having basic Kerala style cuisine. No designated space for parking. If it's before 8 PM then you can pay and park (Rs.40 for 3 hrs). The restaurant doesn't feel so hygienic, maybe because of the old building.

I honestly don't know where to begin, and I am super glad I visited this hotel suggested by a close friend of mine. We ordered beef fry masala and another dry beef item and it was the best I have had so far having visited countless restaurants in the southern part of the country. Thompson the Manager is as hospitable as one can be and a very pleasing personality. When in Gudalur if you crave for beef visit the Garden Hotel the best in town.

Worst biriyani ever I tried, it was like regular rice with oil and some masala also over priced too. Meals were ok with limited side dishes No hygiene in the wash area they don't even keep a hand wash in the washing area. The wash rooms were very dirty and unhygienic. The only good thing here is The suppire Service was good

If there is any award for worst briyani.. then i would subsrcibe this resturant for their briyani.. kept the full plate.. horrible horrible horrible to the core... We tasted the other foods as well nothing was good for the price.. even if they give it for free kindly dont try
