I was curious given the vintage of the place. In the morning, I ordered coffee, confident that there was a sign outside which read 'filter coffee'. However, I got instant coffee and that was a huge let down. I went back in the evening for dinner. They were just warming up and I was the only guest. So I didn't get all the the chutneys which were ready only a little later. The parotta was not soft and over cooked, the kurma just bland. Likewise the dosai too was pale looking. Not the greatest food but will work for a highway hotel. The people though were extremely pleasant and made up for the deficiencies.
