Though the menu has limited options, all the items are good. The idlies are in high demand here. The Sambar they serve has not changed taste for more than a decade., which attracts crowd from various corners of the city. The seating capacity is 12. This is a vegetarian hotel but also serves egg dishes(omelette, half boil, full boil, Scrambled egg - Kalakki). The menu consists of Dosa, Spl Dosa, Uthappam, Onion Uthappam, Egg dosa, Idly, vada, sambar vada, Sevai, Pongal/Kichdi and Egg dishes in the morning. They don't serve afternoon. At night, they have Idly (high demand, usually gets over by 9PM), All dosa varieties and egg varieties mentioned above, Sevai(and Sevai fry), Kuska(with Super tasty Kuruma). The side dishes available are Sambar, Coconut chutney, Onion chutney (kaara chutney), Kuruma(only at night), Onion Raitha(only at night). Hygiene wise the negatives are that there is no proper tap to wash hands, there's only a sink with a bucket of water and tumbler nearby and the tumblers used to serve water are not washed properly. The positive is that the food is prepared in a hygienic manner. The quality of food is also very good, I've seen sick people who can't cook at home buy food from this shop. I've been having food at this shop for more than 15 years now and I've never felt uncomfortable or sick after having food at this place. This place usually gets crowded at weekend nights. The timings are morning 9.00 AM to 11.30 AM, Night 7.30 PM to 11.00 PM., they are open all days. Totally this is a Very small hotel that offers limited options of food which are safe, hygienic, having high quality and good taste.
