Sri Krishna Vilas Hotels

This hotel showcases the old grandeur of lodging ( especially government employees). Room was very clean, spacious and family friendly. However the manager and the staff were rude and unconcerned.

During our stay at Sri Krishna Vilas Hotel in Coimbatore, we found the experience to be a mix of pros and cons. The rooms were basic and not as well-maintained as we expected. They weren't particularly spacious or luxurious, but they were manageable for a short stay. Given the price, it was okay, though it could use some improvements in cleanliness and maintenance. For lunch, we decided to try their famous meals, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The meals were both affordable and tasty, with generous portions. It was clear that many locals regularly dine here, as the restaurant was busy with a steady flow of customers, which spoke volumes about its popularity and the quality of food. The rice, sambar, and vegetable curry were flavorful and satisfying. One of the highlights of the meal was the payasam (sweet pudding) served at the end. It was rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet, leaving me feeling completely satisfied after the meal. While the rooms could be better, the restaurant's food, especially the meals and the delightful payasam, made up for it. Overall, Sri Krishna Vilas provided good value for money and was a solid choice for a budget-friendly stay and meal in Coimbatore.

I have paid 1600 for this room, the rooms are very old & shouldn't be more than 1000. Apart from that room rent, it was very clean. Wifi was average. Staffs are so polite & friendly. Best thing is there is an elevator in this hotel. There is a vegetarian restaurant available in this hotel, best food in reasonable price.

One of the old Hotels in Coimbatore, offers good service. Their restaurant is famous for its vegetarian dishes. Needs improvement & maintenance of their restrooms.

Stayed here during my Bharat Yatra, Got the location through Google Map. During this Yatra, I stayed in many dharamshalas, Hotels, Lodges. The manager here's very humble and managed the rooms very professionally like a 5 Star Hotel. You will find a pure veg restaurant, now they offer only lunch. They have stopped serving breakfast and dinner due to competition. Staff is very humble and kind, they provide purified drinking water without any additional cost. Parking for two-wheelers and four wheelers is free. I found Elevator working during my 2 days stay. It's in very safe area, due to Collector's office and in good location from where you can get everything of your need. If you're visiting Coimbatore, you must visit this hotel to stay overnight or a week in peace.
