We wanted to go to a non-fancy, pure veg restaurant and walked here. So glad we did! The owner is affable and helpful, the food is excellent, the tables are communal, the staff are diligent, and the prices are inexpensive. Although everything was delicious, the Kerala parota and the curry that comes with it (like a korma) was especially good.

What a lovely place. People come to Coimbatore to eat in Annapoorna. I would strongly recommend eating at cs express as they have a huge variety of tiffin items. Curd vadai is awesome. Their sambar rice is to die for. Rava dosa options are awesome. Tomato uttappam is amazing. Thayir sevai is also good. They don't have desserts, so you can walk up to nearby places to have desserts. Their service by Mr Unnikrishnan was excellent. The owner of this place is a humble gentleman by the name of Kishore. It is opposite the collectors office and I would urge everyone to visit Coimbatore to dine at CS express and CS grand cafe!! Very homely meals. Last but not the least the prices are so so nominal!! We were a group of 6 and each of us ate sumptuously and the bill was under Rs 700. In fact the taste of dishes were even better than Annapoorna.

One of the best veg restaurants in the coimbatore city. Taste is excellent. Quantity - more than sumptuous. Quality is Best. Price - very affordable , cheap. Service is so quick, fresh and hot. Clean and Hygiene. To reach - just opposite to District collectors office , close to police commissioner office , very close to court and railway station ...located in the heart of the city. Very organised service . FSSAI - 5 star rated hotel. Don't miss the experience.

The food I had (rasa bonda, sambar, chutney, onion uthappam, idli, vada, coffee) were all real cool. Nominal charges. Clean place. Close to railway station.
