Located on busy streets of Sowcarpet. No place to take your 4 wheeler. 2 wheeler will be ok-ish. Parking will be another challenge. Only two menu : Podi Uthappam and Podi Idly. Open kitchen and should eat in streets only. No table or any hygeine over the place.
There is no space to sit and eat, it's like a street food shop with a big crowd of fans. But once u eat from here, surely will come again the next time, that much tasty food. Don't think about the cleanliness and hygiene etc. just eat and enjoy the food They will deliver very fastly for a crowd of people, their chutney is very unique. Having podi uthappam/podi idly with that chutney is like mouth watering. Everyone should try once from here it's my request
Mini Podi and plain idly, unbelievably delicious mint chutney and onion chutney, hot sizzling small sized Podi uthappam soaked in ghee. Street food, starts from 5.45 pm to 11.30 pm in the night. Always crowded and still you will be well attended.
Seena Bhai Tiffin Centre is one of the popular food centre located in Sowcarpet in Chennai. The restaurant is known for tiffin items - idli, dosa,uttapam etc... It's worth it to taste once if it is planned to visit Sowcarpet. Only one point concern is more ghee is being used for preparation of food. The crowd is always there to enjoy the food taste. All time options are dosa and idly.
Excellent uttapam 2 pieces for Rs.70. If you are lucky you will get in about 10 mins, else you will see min 20 with empty plates waiting. Ghee is poured and infused in uttapam ... tasting most delucious. Podi mini idly also excellent at same price. Should definitely try it !!!
