As regular here, my last visit couple of days back reiterated why I am so. For a family outing preferring a good north Indian vegetarian restaurant, we went there. Every single dish that we ordered was outstanding. Service was good with not much waiting to be served. Will be there again soon...
(4/5) Visited Pind Restaurant (Veg) last weekend in Tamil Nadu, and it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The moment you step in, the place gives off a warm, dhaba vibe -- furnitures, colorful decor, and soft music playing in the background. It feels cozy and inviting, even if you're going for a casual dinner. We tried the Paneer Butter Masala, Dal Tadka, Garlic Naan, and a Lassi. Everything tasted fresh and authentic -- the paneer was melt-in-the-mouth soft, and the gravy had that perfect buttery aroma. The dal was nicely tempered, not too oily, and paired perfectly with the naan. The service staff were polite and the food came out fairly quickly. The restaurant was moderately busy but still comfortable. Portion sizes were generous, and the prices felt reasonable The only minor issue was parking -- the area can get a bit crowded during weekends. Apart from that, no complaints.
The ambience and atmosphere is good. The service is good. Went on Sunday for dinner. It was full crowded. The only issue was that the food served was not at all hot. It was cold and was not tasting good.
The buffet price was very affordable and is the best option for anyone to choose over the A la carte. The varieties in the buffet was great. From Lychee welcome drink, 1 plate Pani puri, 4 starters, Vada Pav, 3 main dishes, 2 types of roti, 1 type of rice and 3 dessers. Best part was all these were served at the table which was also the worst part as we had to wait for a minimum of 10 to 15 mins between dishes. We lost our appetite mid time and couldn't enjoy the final main courses. The restaurant didn't have Pasta so they asked me to choose any other starter and I choose the Tandoori Broccoli. I did not like it as the tandoori masala on it was very less and I felt like I was chewing plain brocolli. As mentioned earlier, the service was very slow. They didn't serve the basic necessities like water and I had to remind them 4 times to serve water. 2 times they got my choice of order wrong. 1st was when I asked for Chocolate ice cream they brought strawberry and 2nd time when I asked for veg biriyani I got jeera rice served. This needs some improvement from the server side. The art inside the restaurant is good and eye catchy but the toilets need serious improvement and ample lighting. If the above things are improved am sure this would be the go to spot for the nearby office gooers for team lunch and dinners.
