We had the pleasure of dining in this exquisite and unique traditional canteen. Their selectively curated menu , though limited , was a treat for the taste buds. We had mapillai samba dosai, Nellore kaara dosai, neer dosai , vadai and panangalkandu paal. Each dish was competing with the other. Loved the aromatic sambar and tasty chutneys. Neer dosai was served with coconut milk with a subtle hint of elaichi which was too good. The menu is all vegetarian. Water served in mud vessels and copper glasses used. Very authentic. I must mention the staff were very courteous. And they have a retail outlet by the side where we can purchase clay, stone, copper and other traditinal cookware and serve ware. Felt it was a bit pricey for the quantity. But would definitely recommend for taste.
