(3/5) Visited Copper Kitchen Porur on 22nd June with friends for a late lunch. While the restaurant has a good name, our overall experience was a bit underwhelming. Food: The Nenjilumb Soup was decent, but lacked depth in flavor. Tangdi Kabab (2 Pcs) was well-cooked but the taste didn't quite justify the premium pricing. Paneer Butter Masala was creamy, but a bit on the sweeter side and lacked the punch you'd expect. Garlic Naan and Roti were fresh and soft. Tender Coconut Falooda was unique and probably the highlight of the meal. Fresh Lime Juice and Water Bottle were standard. Service: The biggest drawback of the visit was the extremely slow service. Despite the restaurant not being very crowded at the time, we had to wait far too long between each item being served. It disrupted the flow of the meal and made the dining experience frustrating. Pricing: The total bill came to 1280, including minimal CGST/SGST. While the pricing is somewhat expected for a family restaurant, the taste and service didn't quite live up to the cost. Ambience: The ambience was decent and the place seemed clean. Suitable for small group outings. Overall Verdict: Average food, slow service, and not the best value for money. This visit didn't meet expectations, and improvements in staff responsiveness and consistency in taste could make a big difference.
