Felt the food was average at best though it felt homemade. Prices are very high too.
There's a thin line between intrusive and inattentive. The service from this place lies on that line and leans a bit into intrusive.
At times we had to call them to get something and at times they were trying to impose something they were trying to sell.
Meals was served with fluffy hot rice accompanied by many different kinds of gravies. There were lots of women trying to serve us instead of one concentrating on a particular table and some of them had no idea what we already had. Most of them were trying to sell/serve kadai gravy though I was asking for some other gravy. Loved the karuvadu thokku. 230rs.
Mutton kudal fry mostly only had parts from large intestine. The guy who took order said there won't be any lungs mixed yet it was there. It was peppery but felt average. 250rs. Overpriced.
Sankara fish fry had red chilli marinade and was tawa roasted. Was decent enough. 300rs.
Pannai nattu kozhi masala was average too. Didn't go well with the rice. 310rs. Overpriced.
Elaneer payasam was delectable for the hot weather. 100rs.
The pricing is very much on the higher side for what's on offer. Overall it's an average fare which I felt can be skipped.
