Good Stop for Lunch on the Highway! Saisangeet on the Bangalore to Chennai highway is a solid choice for a vegetarian meal. We stopped for lunch and overall, the food was quite good. The South Indian Thali was excellent and felt like great value for money (priced at 170.00). The portions were good, and while the Kara Kolumb was quite spicy, everything else was very tasty. We also enjoyed the combination of Butter Roti, Naan, and Paneer Butter Masala -- all were well-prepared and delicious. The North Indian Thali (280.00), however, felt a bit overpriced for what it offered (2 rotis, paneer butter masala, dal fry, jeera rice, papad, aloo gobi sabji, and sweet corn veg soup). While the soup was good, the thali price could be better justified. A note on dessert: The Rasmalai was unfortunately not up to the mark. It had an excessive amount of nuts which completely ruined the delicate flavour. I'd recommend skipping the Rasmalai for now. Overall: A reliable and good stop for lunch, especially if you're heading for the South Indian Thali. Nice ambiance, good service and food taste is fabulous. Lot of interesting aspects around the restaurant, like shopping and pet watching. Ample car parking space and most importantly the restrooms was clean and neat.

The place is really crowded, and you may need to wait around 30 minutes for a table. However, it has several attractions that make the visit enjoyable, including a handicrafts store, clean restrooms, ponds with big fish, and small animals like rabbits that kids will love. The food is also good, adding to the overall experience. Lots of parking on street.

One of the good food restaurant in the vicinity. Best vegetarian option in the highway. Taste and quality of the food were good. Quick service. A little expensive. Decent atmosphere. There's place for highly overpriced item shopping in the ground floor and the restaurant is in first floor. Lift is also available. Overall, in this highway, this is a good place to take a break. Th

Not sure if the server had a bad day. But obviously he made our day bad. This is our second time visiting the restaurant. First time when we visited, the lights were switched off while eating. Today, We ordered 2 Basundi. The server just spoke in a rude tone mentioning there is only 1 basundi. "Basundi illa. Onnu dha iruku" As if we the customers are longing for it. Water was not served. Only empty tumblers were kept. The tone was not polite. Food was also not hot but tastes good.
