Neha Tiffin Centre

Jalebi (SGD $1) @ Neha Tiffin Centre. . Opened in December 2014, this humble hawker stall sees good traffic throughout the day for their wallet-friendly South Indian savouries and North Indian sweets. . Their version is part chewy part soft in texture, with bright floral sour sweet spice flavour, a tad more puffy in shape than elsewhere. . Feels so decadent, yet enticing.

I recently tried the vadais and chutney from this food stall and was sorely disappointed. The vadais were greasy and undercooked, leaving a heavy and unpleasant taste in my mouth. The chutney was bland and lacked any depth of flavor, making it taste like canned tomato sauce and it's kept outdoors in Singapore's humid conditios. Overall, I would not recommend ordering these items as they were a waste of money and left me feeling unsatisfied. Save your taste buds and go somewhere else for a better meal and also avoid potential diarrhoea.

Tekka Centre is a must visit and on your foodie list the Neha Tiffin Centre. Here is Indian cuisine on a plate. I had a Masala Dosa and attracted a whole tourist group wanting to know what I was eating. Try this place... you will not be disappointed.

Awesome place for south indian dishes. You can buy a single dosa for S$1.5 & 2 Dosa for S$2. Which is really worth. Even omelette which is quite big ! Must try for budget travellers. Liked the food and the kind gesture. Everyone speaks here tamil very well.. Its more of like a kutty Chennai.

Good service, good food with great value. Would highly recommend their laddu, jilebi and boonthi sweets. Their thosai batter is always fresh. Do give their onion pakora a try as well, very crunchy and tasty.
