We had been frequenting Hoshiarpuri Dhaba for long & decided to halt at Shivalik this Saturday. I must say the standard , quality, quantity & services are way better. Good comfortable halt, good food, excellent sweets . Highly Recommended !!

Tandoori parantha was good. but not worth the price... Atleast butter be included with parantha like in murthal dhabas you got free butter . Gur (Jaggery) chai is a must try... Would recommend it... Roasted desi ghee besan barfi is worst @ 480 per Kg.. Dont buy sweets from them...

Situated on Balachaur Road Shivalik Dhaba is good option for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Prices are reasonable. Food is good in taste. Neat and clean washrooms. Dining hall has high back and comfortable chairs. Service quality is good but requires some improvement in delivery. Better to place your whole order in advance. It will save lot of time. They also sell sweets. Good in quality.On the whole good eating experience for travellers. I recommend this place.

Shivalik sweets and vaishno dhaba, Balachaur . It is very nice place on Chandigarh Highway. very neat and clean. Good service. Food is very tasty. The owner themselves Santokh Singh ji and Gurdeep ji are very soft spoken and hospitable. You can enjoy good quality food here. They also have a very special Besan which is awesome. From so many years whenever we are on the way to Chandigarh , we always stop here for their special Besan. They also have Desi burfi and Kalakand. Kalakand is also very tasty. Everything here is always fresh. They have outdoor as well as indoor seating. I am visiting this place from so many years and has no hesitation in saying that they serve good food in reasonable prices.

I visit with my friends and I feel this is very good place on Chandigarh road to visit with family for a dinner lunch or breaksfast. Seating arrangement ment is too good and service by the attendent also very good. Awesome food and service. AC and Non AC seating arrangement available The washroom was also separately managed in very good manner neat and clean that's first priority of customer.
