Strange that they do not keep forks. I had to eat with 2 spoons. When asked they said as it is not a Chinese restaurant, fork is not required... The mutton was very good. Overall value for money. Good taste.

Best place to have a perfect odia style food. Everything seems like a home. Very friendly staff. If you want to taste patra poda dish then this is the best place to have that. Chilika kankada (Crab) best one to taste something different than ur usual chicken. Mutton jhola is purely homestyle cooked. Chingudi patra poda is the best for any homely nostalgia feel.

We recently went this restaurant for lunch. It's mainly serving Odia delicacies. We ordered Chattu Patrapoda, Paneer Patrapoda, Veg Thalis and Nadia bara. The food is really good. But the service is very bad. The staffs were rude. At first they gave us Chattu Patra poda but didn't give any plates. We have to ask them for plates, spoons, glasses repeatedly. Then before we finish our food they asked us to leave because people were waiting for dine in. They said they have a 40 mins time limit. If you guys have 40 mins time limit, you need to tell the customers beforehand and serve the food in 5 mins. We didn't enjoy here though the food was good.

Last afternoon we thought of having pakhal and some authentic Odia cuisine. We tried their thali and dishes like Mushroom patrapoda, Chhungudi (prawns) and Mutton Aloo Jhola. The taste and ambiance was good. The price was a bit on the higher side and there was waiting time for a seat. Overall if you need to try authentic odia food in a good ambience then this is the place.

We ordered a mutton thali that came with a variety of side items and a chingudi checha, which were quite good. However, the mutton itself lacked any real essence -- it didn't feel like we were eating mutton at all. For a restaurant charging 400 for a mutton thali, I believe there are better places that serve far superior mutton at a lower price. The staff's behavior was a bit stiff and could definitely be more welcoming. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I wouldn't return for the mutton.
