Yumyum Tangkhul Kitchen

This is long but read it. It's LITERALLY the HIDDEN GEM of IMPHAL. Writing this today but I am a regular here. The BEST PORK in town is here. It's location on the first floor of a building (can't see from the road) is the only reason why it's not everyone's favourite pork restaurant yet. I'd suggest you try the smoked pork curry with bamboo shoot and the tangkhul pork. You'd thank me after that. Unlike it's overpriced and crappy service neighbouring restaurants, this place is not only reasonably priced but also very warm and homely. It's a family run place with the nicest owner I've seen in my life of travelling inside and outside the country. Be nice to them as well since it's not a very commercialized restaurant but a homemade vibe place. If you think I'm being biased.....I didn't like the beverages they made (my experience) and chicken is not that different from other places. It's the pork and sometimes beef that you should definitely have. Sorry no photo because I'm already digging in as soon as the food is served.

Yum Yum Tangkhul kitchen service deserves deep appreciation for its warmth, hospitality, and rich tradition. The care in preparing food with natural ingredients and the respect for guests reflect true cultural values. It is more than service, it is love, unity, and identity served at every table.

Nice and unique place. Food is excellent, you will find it like a home cook style but a bit different in taste wise.. very unique! The people working and running the place are very nice people that i had come across. However just 1 issue i had experienced while i was there.. time taken in getting our orders where quiet late. Still that is something which can be improved. Still i would recommend anyone who would one to try out authentic tangkhul food... go ahead won't be disappointed!

The food is very delicious and the portions are very generous.. the atmosphere doesn't feel like a restaurant but that of a home.. I would 100 percent come there always.

The food was very delicious. The pork thali was tasty. The tangkhul style pork was very well cooked and tasty too.The staff were very humble. They delivered the food till CMC Koirengei. Thank you Yumyum Tangkhul Kitchen.
