Had the Ghee Masala Dosa, Benne Podi Masala dosa and Idli Wada Sambar here and loved it! Crispy, golden dosa with a nice buttery touch, served with fresh chutneys and flavorful sambar. Quick service, clean place, and cozy ambiance with greenery around. Perfect spot for authentic South Indian food in Pune.

Kalyani Tiffin Room ( KTR) is located opposite to the Joggers park in Kalyani Nagar and catches the eye while passing by. After crossing it many times, I finally got the opportunity to visit it. The ambience is very nice and gives an open and well lit feel. I ordered Ghee masala dosa, Khara bhath (Upma) and filter coffee. The Dosa was very nice with generous use of ghee, crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. The potato bhaji ( masala) was less in quantity and okay or par for the course, nothing special. The Chutneys were also less in quantity and only the coconut chutney was up to the mark. The Khara Bhath/ Upma was nice and pleasant to taste and with decent quantity, but expensive. The filter coffee was nice. KTR appears to be one of those newly opened south indian restaurants which feel that a good dosa, idli or wada is all you need and the Chutneys , sambar and potato bhaji can be neglected and served with mediocre taste and less quantity. KTR is worth visiting once, but difficult to visit again, as there are many options that are much better.

New place, tried today. Food is actually quite good. Coffee is pretty close to authentic. Peaceful place for a laidback afternoon. Parking on kerbside maybe an issue during joggers' hours due to proximity to the park.

Such a lovely place! Loved the ambience calm, cozy and full of South Indian vibes. the masala chai and coffee were really good, and the light music just made it even better. Super comfortable seating and positive vibes all around. Definitely coming back again!

It's definitely a recommended spot if you're in Kalyani Nagar and craving some authentic South Indian quick bites! We tried a variety of dishes from the soft button and thatte idlis to the flavour-packed tomato onion uttappa, crispy rava masala dosa, and the ever-delicious Mysore masala dosa. Of course, we couldn't skip the filter coffee and their chilled iced coffee twist! What truly stood out were the sambar and the green/coconut chutneys!! Absolutely rich in flavor and felt super fresh. The filter coffee could be a touch stronger to match the bold South Indian vibe, but that's just a minor tweak. The interiors are well done, with a clean and inviting ambiance that makes you want to sit and savor your meal a bit longer The staff here is cheerful, courteous, and quick on their feet, which added to the overall pleasant experience. If you're nearby or even just passing through, Kalyani Tiffin Room is definitely worth a visit!
