This place serves best authentic malvani fish thali. No frill, non AC, very small , cramped , overcrowded place . They serve food in 2 small rooms on ground floor and 1 room on 1st floor. But lack of enough staff for service . Ignore all above if you really want to eat awesome seafood thalis. We drove additional 16 Km just to have food here for all 3 days that we stayed in Sindhudurg. We mostly had Lunch. In case they need finance to grow we friends are ready with some stake in the business.

All time favorites in Malvan

On a road trip to Malvan, someone recommended this place to us when we asked for authentic fish thali nearby. This place is actually a house where one room is converted into a dining area for guests. Food is good. We ordered Prawns thali, Kingfish thali and Pomfret thali, quantity of fish they serve is good. Mutton thali was very balanced with enough of pieces along with gravy. If someone looking for authentic food would definitely recommend this place in malvan. Not recommended for someone who look for fancy restaurant. Place does not have air conditioners, so might become little uncomfortable, but if your ready to sacrifice comfort over good food than look no further.

Although the location of this place is a bit far from the beach, the staff here is warm and friendly. However, the service was quite slow, which affected our overall experience. The food had its highlights, with the fish being nicely prepared, offering a soft meat and crunchy coating that we would recommend for seafood lovers. Sadly, our excitement waned when we discovered that the prawns were not cleaned or deveined, resulting in a loss of appetite. The pricing was reasonable, with two thaalis costing us 800 rupees. If you have patience for slower service and are willing to take a chance on the seafood dishes, this place might still be worth considering.

Must visit once!!! A traditional authentic Malvani meal that will not give you a stomachache. Perfectly homemade with a WOW taste. I've been coming here for the past three years, especially for the seafood. I haven't eaten chicken or mutton, so no reviews, but sea cuisine is a must-try, especially surmai and bangda thali. Please keep in mind that you may have to wait for an extended period of time, especially during the seasons, because they may not be top-notch in terms of hospitality but better than the best in providing traditional Malvani food.
