Food is average which was amazing some years back, only their signature dish, Kanda bhaji (onion pakoda) is very nice, but the green Chutney given with all the snacks is taste. Less salt is not there in the Chutney. Overall environment and atmosphere is very bad. Very unhygienic and their public washrooms are bad than even government. Public washrooms, misal pav is below average having only Garam masala taste. One of my fellow member tried their South Indian food, but I don't know whether he liked or not even butter. Milk was also stale.

A decent place to stop by on your way to Karjat, usually crowded with travellers Things to try: *Wada Pav *Kaanda Bhajji *Misal Pav (if you like the Puneri style Misal which is made with sprouts and spices) Please avoid the South Indian delicacies. A bit low in the scale of service and cleanliness but one won't regret stopping by for a quick snack (you get packaged snacks and soft drinks as well)

This restaurant is in Karjat near the char rasta. The place is really amazing and mostly full. We visited this place on the weekend and the place was too crowded not even a place to sit. Talking about the food they offer snacks and breakfast like Vada Pav, Bhajiya Pav, Misal Pav, tea , coffee and variety not a dinner or lunch place. You will rarely find a place to sit on the weekend, you have to get your table the Menu is on the wall you can see and order from there the staff will come to your table for the order. The place is very economical Overall it's a good halt place in case anyone goes for a long journey they can take a break and enjoy the food there.

Awesome Food Specially kanda Bhaji, Missal pav Vada pav. All with Great Taste and Types of chutneys. Excellent Taste of Tea.

We visited Thakre Hotel for breakfast on our way to Matheran. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good--a comfortable stop for a quick meal. We tried the Vada Pav and Kanda Bhajji. While the Vada Pav tasted good, both items were prepared in bulk, so they weren't served fresh and hot. The Kanda Bhajji could definitely be improved in terms of crispness and freshness. Overall, it's a decent place for a quick bite, but the quality would be much better if items were made fresh to order.
