Absolutely loved our experience at Foodking, Karjat! We ordered their special biryani and keema dishes the presentation was top-notch and the taste even better. The biryani was aromatic, perfectly spiced, and generously topped with egg and garnishes. The keema dish was rich, flavorful, and loaded with toppings a total crowd-pleaser.
The manager/server was quite rude and refused to arrange another table despite there being flies around ours. Although the restaurant is air-conditioned, it wasn't cool enough. The food is decent in taste. To highlight - the Dal Tadka Khichdi was quite oily (see the pic where the oil is separated in a small bowl).
The taste of food is decent but service is too bad the staff is so rude I ordered my food 30 minutes ago but when I went to collect it they said they had just started cooking. Tbh If you are in a good mood, don't go.
For a family dinner my brother recommended this place , before going I checked out reviews,saw many negative reviews about taste n services hesitated a little bit .as there were no choice, today me n my family visited here,as per my previous experiences we decided to order the starters before reaching the restaurant(very cooperative staff though I irritated them by calling thrice sorry about that) ,we ordered chicken platter full, panner tikka and chicken manchow soup, quantity of platter was good, taste was also nice, i ll suggest to improve the taste of panner a bit ..I was very happy that they follow my instructions properly n order was kept on the table nice service. Budget friendly.Good ambience.It's walkable from the karjat station.overall good experience.
I've been to this restaurant twice, hoping for a better experience the second time, but both visits were really disappointing. The taste of the food was far below expectations-bland, poorly prepared, and completely lacking flavor. It not only spoiled my mood but felt like a complete waste of money. I genuinely don't understand the hype, if any. Definitely not coming back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for quality food or a satisfying dining experience. (Especially for AEMA cadets)
