I recently visited Junnar to attend a friend's marriage ceremony, and the next day we planned a visit to Shivneri Fort. During our stay, we came across Hotel Ratan, and I must say it was a great find. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with proper air-conditioning and hygiene standards. The highlight was the balcony view -- a beautiful sight of the Buddha Leni caves and Shivneri Fort while enjoying breakfast. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay. After a delicious lunch at the ground-floor restaurant, we also enjoyed some delightful pastries from the Monginis cake shop located at the front of the hotel. If you're planning to visit Shivneri Fort, I recommend asking the hotel staff -- they can help you connect with local auto-rickshaw drivers. We arranged a return ride for up to 10 people at a very reasonable price of around 200. Overall, Hotel Ratan is a safe, secure, and pleasant place to stay.
