Nikhil hotel is the no1 hotel in Kankavli city on Mumbai Goa highway which offers wide variety of authentic veg and nonveg Malvani cuisine at affordable rates. We are their regular customers since more than a decade. Chicken fry thali, fish thalis, chicken biryani are my personal favourite here. Though they use fresh coconuts in their preparations the gravies and masala's doesn't taste sweet rather more tasty full of flavour and masaledar. Even though always crowded the orders are taken promptly and food is served hot on the table. There is more than enough seating to accommodate large number of groups at a time. Overall a best place to enjoy authentic Malvani cuisine with your friends and family.

Last time I crossed this place was in 2017 in peak monsoon ohh yummy yummy. That too was super hungry after visiting SaavDaav waterfall nearby. So we asked a petrol pump staff and he directed us here. The food mutton Fish Veg Chicken everything was steaming Hotttttt and Vade were absolutely Heavenly. So recently last week in 2023 while crossing the town made it a point to visit this place and trust me they have not changed a bit. Pure excellent food for a long time now. The place is a MUST Visit dammnn already craving while writing.

Heard about Nikhil lunch home and ita Non veg food. Visited twice and tried their surmai fish thali, pomfret Fish thali, chicken thali and chicken biryani.. you will find homely and authentic taste and flavours of malvani cuisine... Fish is fresh and moist... Fish curry is amazing.. will recommend to all fish lover.

I had lunch with my family at Nihil New Hotel on the way to Malvan on 6th Apr'24. In Kankavli, this is the best place to have lunch when looking for malvan cusine. his restaurant fits the lunch time when travelling from Pune and also ask for Nikhil New hotel and not the old one. ###Food - 4.5/5, Fishes are their specialty and i must say they are renown in this part. Fishes are fresh and quality and taste is really good. Ordered surmai, prawns, pomfret thali along with a veg thali. For Veg, its not that great but ok. In one word superb and overall highly recommend and a must visit place. ###Ambiance - 3/5, Nothing fancy, you go there to enjoy your food. The owner has kept it simple and manageable. No AC which is a bit off during summer time. ###Service - 3.5/5, Remember you have to wait minimum 15 mins before food being served. Food served before 4 pm IST only. ###Value of money - 4/5, certainly recommended for pocket friendly and delicious food. ##Improvements: - No Acceptance of online payments which is really a off. We spoke to the manager but seems due to tax but a major let down. - No A/C. - Veg Options are limited.
