Rating: (2/5) We stopped at Sanskriti Hotel near Sinnar for lunch while returning from our Kalsubai trek with a group of about 30 college students. Positives: * Paneer Masala and Veg Kolhapuri were tasty. Disappointments: * Roti was served cold. When we asked the reason, the staff simply said, "Itne saare logon ko ek saath dene mein thanda ho jata hai," which makes no sense for just 30 people in such a big restaurant. * Jeera rice was made with local rice instead of basmati, which you normally expect when paying for a thali. * Dal Tadka lacked flavor - definitely a 1-star experience. * Staff behaviour was quite indifferent and unwelcoming. This is an old and well-known restaurant, but facts are facts: taste is only moderate and the service is disappointing. Think twice before planning lunch or dinner here.
