The place was good when it was new. They have become so careless with quality now with no regards to customer satisfaction. Served me cold, soggy medu Vada. On my complaint the waiter said it's bit undercooked and went away like its my fault. Hard pass.
I recently ordered a Rameshwaram Dosa and a Mysore Plain Dosa from Udupi Kitchen, and the experience was quite disappointing. The Rameshwaram Dosa didn't taste as good as it used to -- the oil was excessive and literally dripping. The presentation had also changed, which makes me suspect that the main chef might have changed. As for the Mysore Dosa, it was extremely salty, and when I mentioned it, the staff simply said, "It tastes like this only." That response was quite dismissive and unprofessional. Overall, very disappointed with both the food quality and the attitude. The standards at Udupi Kitchen seem to have dropped significantly.
Authentic South Indian Taste in Gwalior - Udupi Kitchen As a South Indian living in North India, I was so happy to find this place! I finally got to enjoy a delicious dosa after a long time, and it truly felt relaxing. The masala dosa was very filling -- perfect for an early dinner, as you won't feel hungry for hours and can sleep peacefully. The coffee was absolutely fantastic -- so good that I ordered it again! I highly recommend this place to every South Indian and anyone searching for good dosa taste. The restaurant is neat, well-served, and the staff are polite and welcoming.

Good south indian menu. Mysore dosa they put extra cut onion I don't know why. Filter coffee smells kind of smokey unexpectedly. Prices are kind of ok.
